Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County, the Sciencenter, and the Center for Climate Change Education at PRI are offering a FREE half-day event focused on climate education.
Register for this four-hour event to access resources for teaching about climate change that are locally relevant and grade-specific. This professional development workshop will cater to teachers at every grade level and across all disciplines. Informal educators are welcome too.
Climate Education is relevant in every discipline.
The day will begin with simultaneous programs for K-5, with PRI’s Ingrid Zabel, and for 6-12, with PRI’s Don Haas. These opening workshops will be followed by a Resource Fair, offering climate-connected resources, information, and activity ideas presented by PRI, the Sciencenter, Cornell Cooperative Extension, and other organizations.
The location will be announced shortly and registrants will be notified.
