Parents Apart®: is a six-hour workshop certified by the New York State Parent Education & Awareness Program. It is taught by psychologists, family therapists, social workers, and attorneys for parents who want to help their child(ren) adjust to their separation and/or divorce. The workshop focuses on the emotional reaction of children to their parents' separation or divorce, and methods parents can use to help make the transition easier for children.
The class has been adapted to be offered online in 4 hours by Zoom: on (2) Mondays 6:30 – 8:30pm or
(2) Saturdays 9 – 11am. Please visit our

There is a $60-$100 registration fee to cover workshop expenses. The workshop is open to all regardless of ability to pay. The fee is reduced for those whose income is within the federal poverty guidelines.
Parents of the same child(ren) will be placed in different workshops. Childcare for this workshop is not available; the workshop is not suitable for children.
