Garden Events

CCE-Tompkins hosts a number of public events each year that connect people with gardening of all kinds. These include our annual Spring Garden Fair & Plant Sale, the largest event of its kind in the Finger Lakes; Open Days Garden Tours that open exceptional private gardens to the public for one day, and kitchen garden tours in which successful local vegetable gardeners welcome visits to tour their plots and ask questions. Spring Plant Sale

Join dozens of vendors at the annual Plant Sale, Friday, May 17, 1-7 pm at Ithaca Farmers Market! Free admission — bring a cart to carry your new plants!

Training & Pruning Trees

Join local tree pruning professionals on Tuesday, April 9th from 5:30-7:00 pm to learn to about prune trees.

Ornamental Shrub Pruning

Join local tree pruning professionals on Monday, April 16th from 5:30-7:00 pm for "Shrub Pruning." Cost is $0-$30 Self-Determined sliding scale.
