Risk Management

Risk Management is a critical piece to the success of our 4-H Youth Development Program and includes three major areas: Protecting the safety and well being of youth and adults; programming efforts; and financial responsibilities. We provide tools that help leaders protect the safety and well-being of the youth and adults they work with, provide Certificates of Insurance upon request, and give full orientation and training of volunteers and access to recommended curriculum. Financial accountability and management tools are available through the 4-H office, and staff members are available to help leaders meet reporting standards. This section will provide you with an overview of best practices, expectations of volunteers and forms necessary for successful programs and events. If there is ever a question about risk management, please contact 4-H Staff for additional advice and information.
