What stories can we share to light new pathways toward a food future that nourishes us all? This group art show highlights work from regional artists representing their diverse interpretations of food resilience, equity, and health.
Our partners in Tompkins Food Future will kick off this month-long show with a celebration of and reflection on food system transformation through the eyes of community artists including Coralee McNee, Kirsten Kurtz, Hannah Law, Mary Shelley, Barbara Page, Zoe Miller, Yen Ospina, Brandon Lazore, Elizabeth Sprout, Heather Ainsworth, Yamilka Portorreal, Anna Davidson & Mark Chang, Brad DeFrees, Terrance Vann, Lilly Elliott-Vidaurri, Chloe Yi-Luo Cho, Lea Elleseff and a kids art corner.
Titled "Picturing a Resilient, Equitable, and Healthy Food Future," the show opens at the CAP ArtSpace, 110 N. Tioga Street, on the Commons (also home to the History Center and Visitor Center) Gallery on Friday, June 7 from 5 to 8pm. Artwork will be displayed at the ArtSpace throughout June.
All proceeds go directly to the artists. To purchase, reach out to the artists individually.
