Sun Salutations is a series of poems by Clare Jones and inspired by Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Smart Energy Choices.

Clare Jones will be sharing her project Sun Salutations with Southern Tier residents at two public events on the Ithaca Commons this September. 

• On September 12 and 13,Clare will be in the Author Tent at the Book Fair for the Ithaca Is Books Festival from 11 am to 6pm. 
• On September 25, 26 and 27,Clare will be at a non-profit vendor table at Apple Harvest Fest from 10am to 6pm.

The Author
Clare Jones is a writer and editor who serves as a Master Composter and Cornell Climate Steward in Tompkins County. She has received grants and fellowships from the New York State Council on the Arts, Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts, the Fulbright Program, and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. She leads writing groups for Story House Ithaca and reading groups for the Providence Athenaeum.
