Coalition for Families: Tompkins Transportation

Families, community members, & professionals are invited to join our monthly hybrid (online and in person) presentation.

Learn about easy and accesible ways to move around in Tompkins County from three local organizations:

--> eRide Ithaca
eRide Ithaca is an on-demand, curb-to-curb, transportation service operated by TCAT that provides affordable and convenient rides within the eRide Ithaca service area. The service operates with a fleet of fully electric vehicles, including ADA-accessible vans equipped with wheelchair lifts. Riders can book trips through the eRide Ithaca app or by calling 2-1-1.

--> Ithaca Bikeshare
Ithaca Bikeshare is a class 1, pedal-assist electric bikeshare network, serving the residents and visitors of the Ithaca, NY area. This program is a part of the Center for Community Transportation, your active and shared transportation provider (also home to Ithaca Carshare and Bike Walk Tompkins).

--> 2-1-1
2-1-1 offers resource referrals, housing, health insurance, and transportation, including: TCAT & Gadabout passes, trip planning, eRide assistance, non-emergency medical transportation, and medicaid 1115 waiver services.
