Join Groundswell Center for Local Food & Farming, in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension, for a two-part Agroforestry Workshop.
Part 1: June 18, 6:00–8:00 PM
Participants will visit the site, learn about agroforestry practices, review relevant tree species, and help create a design for planting a small agroforestry demonstration site in a designated area of Groundswell’s incubator farm.
Part 2: October (date and time TBD)
In the second workshop, participants will help prepare the site, plant the trees, and install interpretive signage. The second workshop will take place in October (date and time TBD).
Both workshops will be held at the Groundswell Incubator Farm. Farmers, land stewards, gardeners, and anyone interested in sustainable and regenerative land use is welcome.
These workshops are offered on a sliding scale registration fee of $25–$100+. A limited number of Groundswell scholarships are available.
