Although the Tompkins County Community Beautification Program is funded by an annual grant from the Tompkins County Tourism Program supported by proceeds of the Tompkins County Room Tax, your cash or in-kind donation, or bequest, can be used to support additional projects that are beyond the current scope of the program.
Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Your gift will be acknowledged by a letter that you may use for tax purposes, and your name will be listed among donors in our published Annual Report unless you request otherwise. There are two ways to donate:
Send a donation to the Beautification Fund: Send a donation check payable to CCETC to Cornell Cooperative Extension Tompkins County, 615 Willow Avenue, Ithaca, NY 14850. Indicate Beautification Fund in the memo.
Bottle and Can Drive: Bring your empty deposit water, soda and beer cans and bottles to K&H Redemption Center on Taughannock Blvd. (across from the Beautification planting at Van Horn Park) and designate Community Beautification to receive your deposit returns. No sorting required!
