The IHS GOAT (Green Outdoor Adventure Team) invites you to the 2nd Annual IHS CLIMATE ACTION EXPO at the Ithaca High School Cayuga Street entrance. Look for TCAT’s electric bus!

Participants will be informed about the realities of the climate crisis and equipped with a range of practical action steps, featuring: soil building, transportation alternatives, renewable energy solutions, best building practices, advocacy, and urban planning.

An Interactive Transportation Experience

Your chance to learn climate-smart travel tips. Come learn about electric vehicles and explore ways you can get around that are healthier for the planet. Learn more about Way2Go.

CCE Tompkins' Energy & Climate Change Team

Step inside the PowerHouse to see how much energy appliances use while learning about heat pumps, solar power, and more.Speak with our Clean Energy Advisor about how to save money and reduce energy use. Learn more about Smart Energy Choices.

Enjoy crepes freshly made on-site on a portable induction cooktop—see how great these highly efficient units are! We’ll also have information on solar, heat pumps, energy efficiency, and, of course, induction cooking. Learn more about the CCE Tompkins Energy & Climate Change Team.

Stop by the Compost Education Booth to see demos of easy ways to compost at home, pick up step-by-step factsheets, and speak to Tompkins County Master Composters about your situation.

Cornell Cooperative Extension Farm to School

CCE-Tompkins Farm to School is a countywide effort to enable schools in Tompkins County both to serve NY State farm-fresh products into their cafeterias and to raise student awareness of fresh farm foods!
