Food Garden

The Food Garden is primarily made up of the Vegetable Variety Trial Garden, which is devoted to growing vegetables and fruits, and it is part of a state-wide program for evaluation of vegetable varieties. The varieties change every year. It also includes shrubby fruits and some perennial herbs. Perennial food plants are located around the raised beds. Master Gardener Volunteers evaluate and report their experience growing these vegetables.
