Because of the shade from neighboring trees, this garden is appropriately named the Woodland Garden. Plants here have been selected for their tolerance to deep shade. Some of them are native woodland plants. It is just a narrow strip but it still contains a good number of plants. The Adirondack Chapter of the North American Rock Garden Society, in recent years, have been managing this garden area.
