The gardens are home to a unique blend of flowers, trees, and grasses that represent the plants that thrive in upstate New York. Throughout, the textures present themselves in a variety of ways from bird baths to cairns, to the plants themselves. The gardens provide sanctuary for birds and butterflies. Vines wind their way up the house, making it integral to the garden. As you wander you will see the nuances that a garden can give: colors, scents, and structure, the tangible beauty of nature. All of this, surrounding an historic 1890 farmhouse with lots of borrowed scenery of hills and cornfields.
NOTE: This garden was a featured site on the Open Days Garden Tour and is not open to the public at other times.
