Louie Larson and Peter O’Connell's gardens are incredibly exuberant, colorful and whimsical. A sculptural planting greets visitors at the top of the driveway, made with large boulders, faux pier posts and large container plantings. Walk through the stonehenge and down the steps to the terraced gardens that lead down to the lakeside house. The gardens are carved out of the surrounding woodland and include stone features, container plantings, a tiny water garden, statuary, quaint outbuildings and hundreds of blooming annuals and perennials. A boulder-enclosed vegetable garden is sited in a sunny spot next to the driveway. The plantings continue around the house—be sure to enjoy the colorful planters on the back deck, Peter's hand built brick pizza oven and the beautiful view of Cayuga Lake.

NOTE: This garden was featured on an Open Days Garden Tour and is not open to the public at other times.
