Welcome to our garden! For twenty-five years, we have designed and tended the gardens that frame our 1860s Greek Revival-style farmhouse. An arbor of seventy-five roses greets you as you pass the majestic weeping beech tree nestled behind the weeping willows, that inspired our gardening adventures. The shade garden contains a variety of hostas and ferns and a path that opens to the iris gardens, a Japanese garden by the pool, and perennial beds interspersed with twenty-five Japanese and Chinese tree peonies. As you stroll through the park-like setting, look for the weeping katsura and the bald false cypress, our newest additions to our varied tree collection. And lastly, stop and say "hello" to Obie the pet mule who thinks he is more dog than mule.
NOTE: This garden was a site on the 2013 Open Days Garden Tour and is not open to the public at other times.
