Building Features: These townhomes are part of INHS's Community Housing Trust so they remain affordable forever. LEED-certified and third party inspected, Energy Star certified, and EPA Indoor AirPlus certified. They use a rain screen to separate the siding from the sheathing; passive radon system; low VOC paints, caulks, and adhesives; extra attic insulation, up to R-60; designed and modeled for 40% better performance than Energy star; proven heat bill performance, typically $50-60 a month (based on others built by INHS in area); extra high-quality triple pane vinyl windows; high recycled-content fibercement siding; custom headers to minimize materials; recycled porch decking; sound control: acoustic caulk at top and bottom of party wall drywall and green glue behind party wall drywall.
Special Considerations: These homes are still under construction so be prepared for dirt and mud.
